The La Provence Way park was transformed into an outdoor spa for the day, to pamper and treat a group of 40 local seniors.

The event, hosted by Hope Restoration Center took place on Monday 12 February, where an open invitation was made to seniors from the Westridge block on a community group.

According to Bronwill de Bruyn, organisation founder, seniors were treated to pedicures, haircuts and were gifted to a pair of slippers and water bottle for their participation. “The seniors paved the way in this community,” he said, “and because of them the neighborhood looks and is the way it is.”

The event was supported by locals and businesses who offered seniors pampering free of charge.

On board was Lauren Jonathan of L’s Beauty Bar, Morgan Jonathan of M&L Hair Emporium, Nicole Solomons, Mark Solomons, De Bruyn, Nazel Laminie and Xavier Muller.
