On Saturday, 7 June, Bertha House came alive with hope, healing, and honesty. Women Talk with Liqhame, hosted by VuLi Media, brought together women from all walks of life for real, raw conversations on becoming, personally, financially, and emotionally.
The theme, Becoming Her, focused on mindset shifts, financial literacy, and stepping into the woman each attendee was meant to be.
“The most powerful takeaway for me was realising that becoming the woman I want to be is not a distant dream, but a decision I can make daily.”
– Thandeka Kulati
Liqhame Rasmeni led the dialogue with her own story, setting the tone for openness and courage.
“To stand in front of women and share parts of my story, some of which I’ve never voiced publicly, was a healing experience,” she said. “It reminded me of the strength in vulnerability.”
Panelist Priscilla Kohli spoke on self-belief.
“Growth begins with a decision to believe in yourself. Your story matters. You can rewrite the ending.”
Babalwa Jama stressed the need for safe spaces.
“Platforms like Liqhame empower women to be seen and heard. These conversations ripple out to families, workplaces, and communities.”
This edition tackled two key areas where women often feel stuck, mindset and money. The event created a space for transformation, clarity, and action.
