PINELANDS – The Pinelands Community Police Forum (CPF) expressed gratitude after a well-attended dementia awareness event on Thursday 20 November. The Pinelands dementia awareness event drew strong community participation. It featured a keynote address by Joseph Klassen. He spoke about the impact of dementia and the importance of community education.
The CPF said it was “filled with gratitude and joy” as it reflected on what it described as a heartwarming afternoon. Residents actively engaged in the discussions. This highlighted a growing interest in understanding dementia. They also focused on supporting affected families.
The forum said it hopes to build on this momentum with more awareness and information sessions next year. “Together, we have made a difference, and we look forward to many more opportunities to come together for meaningful causes,” the CPF said. The Pinelands dementia awareness event played a key role in these efforts.
The afternoon formed part of the CPF’s broader work to strengthen community ties. It also aimed to foster safety partnerships and promote health-related awareness across the Pinelands precinct.
