CAPE TOWN-St Clements RC Primary School in Lotus River was gifted school shoes for all its learners on Tuesday 14 October.
The donation is courtesy of Ward 67 councillor Geraldine Gordon, for whom the joy on the faces of the learners was a touching moment and whose gesture the school saw as a blessing.
“Seeing the joy on the kids’ faces on donning the school shoes clearly shows this is what caring is all about. These shoes are durable and extremely flexible. The Mayor undertakes to get more donors to assist with purchasing of shoes.”
