Fish Hoek is set to be ablaze with colour as young and old take part in a fun run of an unusual kind, a first for the area.
Fish Hoek Primary will host its first-ever Colour Run on Friday 7 November at 17:00, marking a new addition to the school’s community-events calendar.
This is intended to be a vibrant celebration of fitness, a spirit of togetherness as well as good, clean family fun, with participants making their way along a 2 km route filled with “bursts of colour (powder), music and plenty of laughter,” according to school spokesperson Melissa Bland.
“Join us for fun, food and lots of colour! Whether you walk, jog or sprint it’s all about having fun and finishing the day covered in every colour of the rainbow.”
Tickets cost R60 each and are available through Quicket.
