CAPE TOWN-Firefighters are battling a blaze in the Heathfield area this morning (Thursday 16 October), after a building that served as a furniture-restoration facility had caught fire.
Around 06:40 the City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Service responded to reports of a fire in Sol Cohen Road.

“Firefighters are still on scene, but it looks as if the fire has caused substantial damage to the property,” said the service’s spokesperson, Jermaine Carelse. “At this stage no-one has been injured and the cause has not yet been established.”
The City said it would provide further details on the building, which housed the company Restorabilia, once the fire was extinguished.
People’s Post reached out to the company for comment, but had not received a response before posting.
