City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office hits Hangberg, Houtbay and Silversands this week

Hangberg, Hout Bay and Silversands residents are encouraged
to take advantage of the City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office bringing municipal
services closer to these communities.

During these visits, the City says, its Customer Relations
Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service
requests electronically.

Customers can engage with the City in a wide range of
non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse
collections and all other account enquiries.

“We
hope to see many residents during our visits to Hangberg, Hout Bay and
Silversands this week,” said the City’s Mayco Member for Corporate Services,
Theresa Uys. “Our mobile office team has been very effective in resolving long
outstanding queries for residents, and we are committed to bringing services
closer to residents and ask that those who plan to make use of the services to
remember to bring along their ID or municipal accounts to help ease the
process.

The mobile office will be stationed accordingly:

  • Tomorrow (Wednesday) 1 November from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Hangberg Library, Bay View Road, Hout Bay Harbour, Hangberg.
  • Thursday 2 November from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Hout Bay Library, Melkhout Crescent, Hout Bay.
  • Friday 3 November from 09:30 to 13:30 at the United Reformed church Silversands, 220 Nooiensfontein Road, Silversands (Opposite Nooiensfontein Sports Complex).
