The final day of the Bayview U-16 Youth Cup will deliver on all fronts as defending champions Cape Town Spurs will face off against Ubuntu Academy in the championship final at Strandfontein Sports Complex.
Over five days of action-packed youth soccer, 72 teams played their hearts out to reach one of five finals. This year, the Bayview ladies soccer team will play the curtain raiser against the Lentegeur ladies team in a bid to promote women’s football.
All matches for the final day will be streamed live via video streaming partner, SpyInc.
At 12:00, Norway Park will play Antalyaspor in the Gold section final followed by the Wagiet Memorial cup at 13:00 where Young Bafana will play the Beaufort West Invitational School team.
The ladies team curtain raiser will be played at 14:00 followed by the championship final at 15:00.
More than R50 000 in prizes were up for grabs.

Platinum section winners will receive R15 000, a custom made 20-man soccer kit to the value of R5 000 sponsored by JD Designs, a floating Bayview Cup, Keepsake Trophy and 25 gold medals.
Runners up will receive R6 500, a soccer kit, keepsake trophy and 25 medals.
Gold Section winners receive R4 000, a keepsake trophy and 25 medals with runners up receiving R3 500, a trophy and medals.
Silver Section winners receive R3 000 with a trophy and medals, and R2 500 with a trophy and medals to the runners up.
Bronze will receive R2 000, a trophy and medals with R1 500 to the runners up.
The winners of the Wagiet Memorial Cup will receive a custom made kit and medal.
