After two intense days of youth soccer action, the final 16 teams for each of the four cup sections have been decided in this year’s Bayview u-16 Youth Cup.

Games kicked off on Sunday 25 June.

How teams ranked in their respective groups determined the place in either the Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze cup section.

In no particular order, teams who will contest each section are listed below:

Platinum Cup Section:

Bishop Lavis Rockafellas, Hout Bay, Rygersdal, Ubuntu, Blue Downs Spurs, Cape Town Spurs, Goal Hunters, Stellenbosch (defending champs), Young Bafana, Beaufort West, Juventus, Belhar Spurs, Eagle Wings, FC Goa, Beacon Spurs

Play will be suspended on Thursday 29 June due to the celebration of Eid al-Adha.

Just over R35 000 in cash is up for grabs in varying amounts for each winning club with other prizes including sports gear and vouchers also on offer.

Sponsors include the City of Cape Town, Sasko, SportsDirect SA, Honor Cellphones and JD Clothing.
